Happy Sunday Evening BOSLadies!
Hopefully you all are seeing this bright and early on Monday morning and have a few minutes to spend on it. The idea is that this letter works like coffee but with a type of caffeine that gives you an emotional boost (instead of the jitters and a crash). Intellectual and emotional jumper cables:

The Weekly Three
Something about Fred Rogers again: For the second week in a row, you’re getting Fred Rogers in your inbox. I saw It’s a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood this weekend and it sent me into a bit of a Rogers research black hole. Before that, I didn’t know about his testimony to the Senate in defense of the federal funding of public broadcasting. The authenticity and emotional intelligence of Mr. Rogers are at their most evident when removed from his neighborhood and put on the Senate floor. Even when addressing a Senator, he spoke as he did on his program directed towards children and in six minutes, secured $20 million in funding.
Something to encourage you to pursue your interests: Another reading list from Ryan Holiday is attached. I’ll be listening to the David Epstein book on my road trip but if you don’t have the time to read/listen to the whole thing, here is Holiday’s article on being a “multi-hyphenate”.
Something to remind you to stop making yourself small: Stop shrinking yourself to make others comfortable. Taking up space doesn’t mean that you’re taking it from someone else. Those are reiterations of the themes from this article that ended up being completely different from what I was expecting. I adored it and was inspired by it and hope you will be too.
Make this week an incredible week everyone!
