Good evening BOSLadies,

Before I share the weekly three, I wanted to let those of you who don’t know that I am moving back home to Los Angeles. I am taking a cross country road trip to move and depart December 26th. If you’ll still have me, I will continue to write these weekly letters and will phone or video conference in to all of our meetings. BOSLady has been one of the best parts of Boston for me and I deeply treasure our community. Now you all have a reason to come to LA and a place to stay

The Weekly Three

  • Something else that we can take away from Mister Rogers Mister Rogers “gave children what they (and really all humans) crave: someone whose attention they could count on”. Does anyone else fear being labeled as needy when they express their desire for attention? Well, “reliable attention from other people promotes healthy social and emotional development” and the therapist writing this article really emphasizes the reliability aspect. An interesting read and, for me, validating when I particularly needed it.

  • Something humorous and VERY relevant for book club Ever had a case of Reader’s Block?

  • Something about gifts really being letters of recommendation What a great way of describing the present you give someone because you love it and think they will too. Maybe viewing gift giving in this way can relieve some of the stress that inevitably creeps up around the holidays.

Any volunteers to host our January meeting? Book poll will be coming out later this week. Send me anything that you want on the list as an option and have a lovely night!
