Good evening BOSLadies,

Are you excited about who and/or what you are bringing to March’s “Bring a BOSLady” meeting? For the March 10th gathering at Available Light, we’re hoping that you all can either bring a friend or colleague who is doing kick-ass things or bring in something to share that recently has stoked your fire. There is no monthly reading selection so as to not discourage potential BOSLadies from joining us. Keep your eyes open for a calendar invite with the time and a conference call number!

The Weekly Three

  • Something at the BSA Space for International Women’s Day

Alexandra is really excited to be running a station and would love to see some BOSLadies there! The event is March 8th from noon to 3pm and is free. Register here.

  • Something to challenge the way you think throughout your day: I’ve previously mentioned Ryan Holiday in some of these Love Notes because he got me interested in Stoicism and because his “canvas strategy” changed my perspective on the parts of work that I often did begrudgingly. If you’re evenly vaguely interested in Stoicism, I highly recommend signing up for the Daily Stoic email (not affiliated with Holiday). It’s a brief read of less than 500 words every day and has reminded me more than once to differentiate between the things that I can control and what I cannot.

  • Something to make you value your own story: I recently started listening to the podcast Don’t Keep Your Day Job and this episode about “storyselling” helped pull me out of a creative rut. The episode is actually about using your story for marketing but I found it to be more meaningful in a broader context. If you don’t have time to listen to the whole episode, there are five takeaways here that you should read.

Until next week BOSLadies!
