Happy Monday BOSLadies!
A reminder that our February meeting is not tomorrow but next Tuesday on the 11th at 6:30pm. Alexandra is graciously hosting at HMFH, which is located at 130 Bishop Allen Drive in Cambridge, MA 02139. We will be discussing The Wisdom of Anxiety by Alan Watts but, as always, you don’t have to read it to join us! BYOB
The Weekly Three
1. Something to celebrate about the Super Bowl (even though the Pats weren’t in it): Yesterday, Katie Sowers “became the first female and openly LGTBQ coach to appear in the Super Bowl.” There were several commercials that focused on women and equality and Microsoft honored Sowers in her own. If you haven’t seen it yet, here it is. Another exciting fact about yesterday’s game: this was the first Super Bowl in which both teams had women owners.

2. Something about where our beliefs and processing methods come from: “The most obvious important realities are often the ones that are hardest to see and talk about.” – David Foster Wallace, This is Water commencement speech
3. Something to join in on: Mia Scharphie, founder of Build Yourself and the catalyst for the formation of BOSLady, is hosting a live discussion via Zoom on February 6th at 1pm EST. The meeting is specifically aimed towards women business owners but is germane to everyone in our book club. Registration is free and I highly recommend tuning in if you have the time. Thanks Catherine for bringing this to my attention to share
