We made it through Monday BOSLadies!
You have the location for next month’s meeting, now here is the date: Wednesday December 4th. Plan around 6:30ish. Will we get kicked out of the MFA’s Women Take the Floor exhibit for talking about Wordslut too loudly? Or would that be counter to the spirit of the exhibit to punish a group of outspoken women (and men) for speaking their minds?

Jonathan Higbee is a New York street photographer who photographs “the small synchronicities that happen daily in the city”. Read this interview with him and maybe find yourself looking for coincidences like these on your next walk through Boston.

Last week, you all were invited to the Sasaki Foundation Speaker Series: Innovative Solutions to Housing Needs. If you are interested in future Sasaki foundation events and lectures, go to https://www.sasakifoundation.org/ and subscribe to their newsletter at the bottom of the page. Anyone who attended last week, I’d love to get a recap and maybe some notes or highlights to share in another BOSLady email. Thank you to Kseniia for sharing!
Anna Brones wrote her November Creative Fuel on the concept of making space, not plans. Recently I’ve been hearing this sentiment expressed often and in many different variations. Hers is a focus on space and slowing down. Highly recommend
Make space for everything that fuels you. Make space for serendipity. Make space for play. Make space for slowness. Make space for creativity. Make space for new ideas. Make space for quiet. Make space for rest.
