Hello Everyone!!
It’s been a couple of weeks but here we all are again Thank you to Catherine for sending out the love last Monday and for getting the calendar invite out for our November meeting (how is it almost November already?!).
Let’s jump right into our three things. Hopefully you also can jump into a pile of leaves today too because play is not just for kids!
Something to look at from multiple angles: What does Byrony Roberts Studio’s Soft Civic installation make you think of? Hanging plants, soccer nets, trampolines? Does it draw you in and inspire activity like it was designed to? If you happen to be in Columbus, Indiana before December 1st, you can check it out in person to make up your mind.

Something with a wide variety of content: For an hour well spent, listen to the Clever podcast interview with Elena Manferdini. Before hearing this, I knew nothing about her and was completely entranced. She expresses a particularly interesting view on children, souls and adulthood that is tucked away between discussion of the appeal of being an educator and the role of color in design.
Something to remind you to make time to slowww downnnn: one of my favorite modern writers on “resisting the velocity of our discontent”
